Planning community remembrance projects to commemorate racial terror lynchings in PG County
The Prince George’s County Committee of the MD Lynching Memorial Project will hold its next meeting on Saturday, October 26 at 2:00p at the Oxon Hill Manor,
6901 Oxon Hill Rd in Oxon Hill. The purpose of the meeting is to organize, reignite and expand plans for a series of community remembrance projects in the county to commemorate the five documented lynchings that occurred here. Even if you weren’t able to attend our earlier meetings in the spring, we welcome your participation as we move forward with this important work.
