The Frederick Remembrance Memorial Coalition of the Maryland Lynching Memorial Project
Our multi-racial coalition started coming together in 2020 to develop a movement to help Frederick County confront the uncomfortable truths about the history of racial terror lynching in our community, to help our neighbors understand the ways in which that legacy continues to exist, and to promote racial healing and reconciliation in Frederick County.
