The Maryland Lynching Memorial Project depends on the generosity of our supporters to advance the cause of reconciliation in our state in a variety of ways.
Your contribution will help us:
- develop and support community coalitions and provide resources for local remembrance projects that acknowledge and memorialize lynchings in the counties where they occurred
- develop curricula, media and other learning materials on the history of lynching in Maryland for students and community members
- organize our annual conference, "Lynching in Maryland"
- extend research in the MLMP Digital Archive
- establish a permanent public memorial dedicated to Maryland's racial terror victims
- honor and dignify the lives of Maryland's lynching victims
